The centerpiece of the Midwest Weavers Association is the biennial conference. Local guilds volunteer to host these conferences, with considerable support by the MWA Board which provides financial seed money, a designated Board member mentor, website hosting, online registration support, and a set of written guidelines compiled from past conference experiences which includes sample budgets, contracts, and other important information.
