Objectives and Purposes
- To foster cooperation among individuals and organized groups in handweaving in the Midwest area of the United States of America.
- To encourage creativity and excellence of craftsmanship in handweaving and related arts, and to widen appreciation of handwoven textiles.
- To remain a non-profit, non-commercial and non-political Association.
The Association shall sponsor a Midwest Weavers Conference, in a city in or near the Midwest region of the United States. The Conference shall be planned, organized and conducted by a local handweavers’ guild.
