Sharon Bowles has been teaching beginning weaving out of her home studio for 21 years. She has taught programs at several guilds on weave structure and warping a loom. She learned to weave weaving overshot and really enjoy the process. She also likes weaving laces and working in finer threads. Sharon has traveled to Florida and Ohio to teach a workshop on Reproduction Shaker Towels. She taught a warping seminar at Midwest Weaver’s conference in Nebraska.

Sharon collects yarn, looms, and weaving books and journals in her weaving studio. She is a member of the Champaign-Urbana Spinners and Weaver’s Guild, Midwest Weavers Association, and the Weaver’s Guild of Boston and earned a Masters Certificate in their Ratings program in April 2022.
