Phyllis Carlyle is a retired Graphic Designer and Clothing Designer. Highlights of her career include a decade creating custom bridals, three years as a professional patternmaker, and designing for an animated display company where the “bodies” were between 14 inches and 8 feet tall. Her main expertise is in sewing and patternmaking, but she also creates knitwear, quilts, jewelry, mosaics, and more. She managed to work three semesters of weaving into her BS and MS in Textiles and Apparel Management with a major in Design and minor in Adult Education.
