Connie’s love of fiber as a craft began when her favorite aunt, Margie, sat on the bed and showed her how to knit when she was in 3rd grade. From there Connie journeyed into a variety of needle arts and sewing. In 2012 she was invited to take a rigid heddle class and with the first throw of the shuttle she knew she was hooked. She now teaches beginning rigid heddle, pick-up patterns and beginning floor loom at Weavers Guild of Minnesota. Connie also coordinates the Rigid Heddle Interest Group at WGM and loves working with new weavers to support their creative adventures.
