If you have purchased unusual yarns, ribbons, or fibers because they were interesting (without knowing what to do with them) this class is for you. Handweavers have access to many exotic yarns, such as hemp, paper, ramie, or horsehair that create special textiles. Instructor will show examples of her use of some of these unusual materials as warp and weft and we will discuss how to incorporate new “threads” in our own work (not limited to clothing).
