Tapestry weaving is the epitome of freedom in design! Participants will learn the basic tapestry techniques of color gradation and hatching, meet-and-separate, slit weaving, weft-interlock and how to weaving angles on their rigid heddle looms. You can continue from the instructor’s earlier workshop on Weft-Faced Weaves, or come to this class with a pre-warped rigid heddle loom to learn basic tapestry techniques.

Materials Fee: $25 for participants not taking part in the instructor’s “Weft-Faced Weaves” class, fee covers warp yarn and warping instructions
Equipment & Supplies to Bring:
- Pre-warped rigid heddle loom with a 5‑dent reed, if taking the Weft-Faced Weaves class, you can use the same loom & warp*
- Tapestry fork
- Scissors
- Tape measure
- Several colors of worsted-weight yarn—singles such as Lambs Pride or other yarns at 800 yards per pound preferred (approx. 8 ounces total)
