Create a sampler of Swedish and Norwegian patterns. This piece can be woven in tabby or plain weave on any type of loom — floor loom, table loom, rigid heddle loom, or tapestry loom. Through group and individualized instruction, participants will learn as many of the techniques as time permits. Examples may include Krokbragd, Rutevev/Rölakan (square weave), Vestfoldsmett/Krabbasnår (embroidery inlay), Lynild (lightning), and narrow pattern bands like Kjerringtenner, Krabs, Fjord and Fjell, and H’s. Participants should have weaving experience of advanced beginner to intermediate level and be able to warp their loom independently.
