We have various ways we can blend color in a tapestry. The workshop includes an introduction to various methods and hands-on exploration of blending colors through hatching, hachures, pick and pick, and weft bundling. Instruction will be provided for each technique. However, you’ll be encouraged to choose one to explore more fully as time permits.

Materials Fee: $25, which covers various fine weft yarns for bundling and blending
Skill Level: Intermediate; participants need to have a basic knowledge of weaving and come with a warped loom.
Equipment & Supplies to Bring:
- 4-6 inch tapestry loom pre-warped at 8 epi
- Weft yarn appropriate for 8 epi
- Notebook for notes and ideas/thoughts/questions
- Pen or pencil for notes
- Scissors
- Hand beater
- Bobbins if you use them
- Sharpie (permanent ink) marker
